completed during our year at the School of Traditional Arts and Design, was a collaborative effort that immersed us in the intricate process of designing and crafting Roshans in Balad. We delved deep into the proportional design ensuring each element of the Roshan was thoughtfully created. Our team generated views to bring our designs to life, allowing us to visualize the final and appreciate the beauty of this traditional architecture. This project not only honed our skills but alsoened our understanding of cultural heritage and design principles.
The Roshan Project
Biennale Display Design
This project involved a group effort to design and create a display for the Roshan at the biennale. We focused on various artistic elements, including designing posters, crafting woodwork, and creating paintings. Each component was carefully designed to to a cohesive visual presentation that reflects our collective creativity. The display aims to engage viewers highlight the artistic talent within our group.
Frame project
Our project involved designing and crafting a unique frame as a collaborative effort. We focused on studying proportions based on the client's requirements, implementing the principles of the golden ratio to achieve a harmonious design. The intricate pattern was meticulously crafted by hand, showcasing our dedication to artistry and precision. This not only highlights our teamwork but also our commitment to delivering a beautifully designed piece that meets the client's vision.

This project was an individual endeavor that allowed me to explore and express my understanding of my experiences in Al Balad. I developed three distinct designs, each reflecting a unique aspect of this culturally rich, and aimed to transform them into simple yet impactful pieces of art. Through this process, I sought to capture the essence of Al Balad and share its story through my creative lens.
